Strides Travel Limited’s Terms and Fair Trading Contract with you
We wish to set out clearly the responsibilities which we have to you and which you, in turn, have to us when a contract is made between us. A contract will exist as soon as we confirm your booking and you make payment either to us or our approved agent. The contract will include everyone on our confirmation/invoice to you. We are obliged to provide you with the travel arrangements you have booked with us on the terms clearly stated below and within the website. Your contract is entered into with Strides Travel Limited.
Travel Trust Association
We are a member of the Travel Trust Association (TTA) with a membership number of U4969. The TTA regulates and monitors the activities of members and we use a Trust Account as a means of protecting your funds. All funds paid by you are placed into a Trust Account and we can only withdraw those funds with the joint approval and signature of the TTA approved trustee. Therefore, if we were to fail financially, your money would still be in the Trust Account to either pay for your holiday as planned or provide you with a full refund.
As an added safeguard, fidelity insurance has to be put in place which covers each passenger for up to GBP 11,000.00. Where travel insurance is purchased through us, fidelity cover is included as part of the insurance policy premium. Where travel insurance is not purchased through us, an additional charge of GBP 2.73 per person is made for this fidelity insurance.
Air Tour Organisers’ Licensing (this section only applies to bookings involving flights)
We are licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority and hold ATOL Number T7261. This ensures that in the event of our failure your money will be protected; if you are on holiday at the time, arrangements will be made to complete your holiday and return home. The flights we provide are supplied by other ATOL holders and are protected by their bonds.
The payments you make for your flight are held by us in our Trust Account on behalf of the ATOL holder who is supplying your flight, until the date we pass the money to that ATOL holder. The ATOL holder supplying the flight will issue an ATOL confirmation invoice to confirm its contract with you. We will forward the ATOL confirmation invoice to you as soon as possible.
