All you need to do to plan your New Zealand self drive holiday is to select your transport and accommodation requirements from the price panels below.
You choose the rental car that suits your needs and we prebook that for you.
You choose your preferred accommodation style and we issue your vouchers for each night of your stay. If you want to freewheel around New Zealand, you can book your accommodation as you go by calling the 7 day tollfree number. Or if you would prefer us to prebook some or all of your accommodation before you strart travelling, you can take advantage of our free booking service.
It's Simple!
Step 1: Transport Option - Self Drive
With self drive you can choose the type of vehicle to suit you best.
Choose the number of days car hire you need from the price and description panels:
Small car prices
Medium car prices
Large car prices
Step 2: Accommodation Option
You decide which type of accommodation you require.
Choose from self-catering motels or full service hotels. You can combine these and have a few days of each.
 Option 1 - Self Catering Motels
If you select self-catering motels you can choose blue or gold standard – or a combination of both.
For self catering accommodation in quality Golden Chain motels, choose the number of nights and standard of accommodation you require from either the blue or gold price categories.

 Option 2 - Full Service Hotels
If you select full service hotels you can choose bronze, silver or gold standard – or a combination of several.
If you wish to stay in full service hotels with Go Kiwi Hotels, choose the number of nights and standard of accommodation you require from either the bronze, silver or gold price categories.

Step 3: Combine your choices
Add the prices together and you have the total cost of your transport and accommodation for your KiwiCombo Pass.
Remember, if you want to freewheel your way around New Zealand and reserve your accommodation on a “book-as-you-go” basis, you can do this by calling the Reservations Centre on the tollfree number. Open 7 days from 7am – 7pm.
